A project like this does not come very often for an architect’s firm. The team here at URA have just finalised St Mary’s Church – a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of King’s Cross St Pancras. Centered around a city courtyard, it is a meeting point for everyone, seeking peacefulness and contemplation in Central London. We very much enjoyed working with the client team of the London East Congregation:

We were delighted to join the celebrations for the re-opening of St Marys church at Kings Cross over the weekend.
Following a competition win in 2020, we delivered the re-design and oversaw the construction site of the Lutheran church and their community centre in the heart of London.
A big thank you to the London East Congregation for trusting URA and giving us the opportunity to design our first Ecclesiastical project. More information and photos coming soon.

The Mildmay Club – Revamp of a cultural Icon

The URA team won the project to revamp the Mildmay Club, an amazing Grade II listed buidling in North London.

Established in 1888, it is one of the last surviving Working Men’s Clubs in London and has featured in many British Film and TV productions, including ‘Killing Eve‘. With two great dancefloors, the Mildmay also is home to concerts, media events and a beautiful part of North London’s cultural heritage. We are thrilled to be on board!

Haas Technik Completed in the Black Forest

UberRaum Architects have just finished their latest project in Germany – the new headquarters and production facilities for automotive supplier ‘Haas Technik’.
The building is located in the breathtaking landscape of the Black Forest and was designed in large parts as a modular project, using BIM technology by us, the local engineers and the contractor.
For the client, a ‘clear and welcoming’ design was important to reflect the brand’s identity and it was an absolute pleasure to work closely with the Haas family to deliver their new flagship building.

Specifically, to become ISO 9001 compliant, we have been independently assessed by The British Assessment Bureau, against internationally recognized standards showing our commitment to quality and assurance. Additionally, this process required examining and documenting all of our processes and making sure through internal audits that processes are predictable and consistent.
