We are incredibly thrilled and honoured that we have won the competition for the new Media Centre at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin – dubbed by Norman Foster as the ‘Mother of all Airports’. The Airport is one of the largest buildings in the world, and UberRaum Architects have been commissioned to lead the initial design phase to accommodate the German Film and Television Academy in one of its spectacular spaces.
We are thrilled to be helping design part of this important structure, and look forward to shaping a piece of its future. A big thank you to our amazing team and the support from our partners Drees & Sommer, CIP Architects, and film director Simon Hunter.
We are very excited to announce the promotion of Rebecca Martin to Associate Director at ÜberRaum Architects.
Since Rebecca joined us, she brought a wealth of experience to the practice, leading high-end projects for our clients. In her new role, she will manage the teams for several international projects in Government and Film Industry sectors and grow the business further with us. Congratulations Rebecca!

UberRaum have started work on the first permanent Medneo radiology centre in the UK!
Medneo is a young, Berlin-based company that specialises in Radiology as a Service – a new operation model for radiology – for the inpatient and outpatient sector. We have worked together to find a fantastic site on Great Portland Street, which will house an MRI scanner – a big logistical and structural challenge in a historic building. The building will also house new offices, and consultation and examination rooms.
UberRaum Architects have recently completed the refurbishment for the renowned Australian brand R.M. Williams at their Flagship store in New Bond Street.
The New Bond Street store was the first R.M.Williams store to open in the UK. UberRaum oversaw the fit out of the new interior which used recycled timber, copper detailing and steel hanging frames. The bespoke fixtures and fittings pay homage to R.M.Williams heritage, inspired by an Australian stockman’s workshop.
Acting as their Local Architect, UberRaum supervised the building works to ensure a smooth delivery of the project, in a very constrained programme. Visit our work on New Bond Street, right in the heart of Central London.
