NEW RESTAURANT IN KNIGHTBRIDGE

Uber Raum Architects are designing a restaurant which will reanimate a derelict building in London, near Harrods, set to open in 2017.

Several different dining zones are created in the restaurant, which includes an outside space with pavement café tables, an inner reception and bar area, and a winter garden with a glazed roof bringing sunlight directly into the heart of the restaurant.

The interior features burnished metal wall cladding and a sculptural timber soffit, to produce a tactile and welcoming ambience.

Summer finally arrives in London in time for Uber Raum’s first Rooftop Party!

At the event last week we welcomed 70 people onto our roof terrace, celebrating the move to our new office.
We enjoyed plenty of food and drink to christen the new space with a party on the roof, and the evening sun lit up the view over London til late into the night!

UberRaum’s Sloane Gardens project has been published on architecture network Archello.
The description and selected images show how, as part of the Sloane Square Conservation Area in the prestigious heart of Chelsea, London SW3, the project brings the benefits of intelligent, contemporary design to enliven a grand period building in a historic neighbourhood.

Cliffside masterplan overlooking ocean designed by ÜberRaum

ÜberRaum Architects developed a concept design for a new masterplan development of luxury villas on a 30 acre cliffside site.

Located close to the ancient silk route, the spectacular site slopes steeply down to overlook the ocean. Tactile natural materials are used, interpreted in a contemporary manner.

Each villa is designed to include framed sea views, engaging the homes with their dramatic location.
