We have completed our Passivhaus project in the Black Forest in Germany. The owners can now move their young family in, and enjoy their new living space in time for summer. An oak canyon staircase runs from the top of the house to the bottom to reflect the topography of the hillside, and encourage movement throughout the house.

When clouds roll into the valley, the house seems to float above them as if in a Cloud Cuckoo Land. It’s a magical sight, so fingers crossed for a day of bad weather! We will keep you posted.
